Restaurants & cafes I recommend

If you meet me in person, most probably we will end up talking about food. I love exploring new places to eat and I am very picky in choosing favourites. This page is a log of the places that I love to eat at and would highly recommend to anyone. Also, a short list of places that I hate - they might (& I hope they do) get better - but for now that's what I think.

Singapore

Papa Palheta Loysell's Toy Cafe
Love the location and the spirit of this place. The coffee is by far the best I've ever tasted anywhere in the world. Works so well because it's run by folks who love running a cafe and know their coffee.
Cafe Iguana
This place was recommended to me the most before I moved to Singapore. It has certainly lived up to the expectations set as well! The Mango Margaritas, Cheesy Nacho platter & Cheesy Enchiladas hold it high on my list.
PS Cafe
The PS Cafe at Dempsey Hill is my favourite for weekend brunches. The location and food is great. Their Wagyu burger is highly recommended
Relish Burger Bar
This place serves the best beef burgers I've ever had. Ace!
Irvin's Seafood Cze Char
The best Black Pepper Crab in town. Period.
Aglio Olio
A simple yet fantastic fusion of Singaporean and Italian cuisine. Try their Chipolata Agli Olio pasta (at normal spicy).
Jaggi's
The best Indian food in town. Nuff said.

Oslo

Bari Pizza
Awesome pizzas for cheap. Nice people. Open till 3am. I've landed there more times than I (or anyone) can remember - wrunk out of my dits and aiming for home.
Peoples
Try the Ghetto Burger on a sunny weekend morning, or a cozy cup of coffee on a cold dark winter evening. Just love the place for it's food and ambience.
Rice Bowl
Best Thai food in town. Amazing Chicken Pad Thai and Green Curry.
New Anarkali
This is the answer. Next time you ask me "Oh, do you have any favourite Indian restaurant in Oslo?", I'll tie you to a pole and put plate of Butter Chicken in front of you.
Arte Pazza
I discovered this place almost just before I left Oslo, but loved it. Great Italian food and really nice ambience.
Villa Paradiso
Hated this place at first, but eventually loved it. Amazing fresh cooked pizza.
Aku Aku
The best tiki bar and cocktails in Oslo. Have started some great drunk conversations here. Don't remember most of them.
Cafe Stredet
Loved this place before it closed down for a year. I hope they open up again. Take a game of Ricochet Robots with you when you go.
